About the Business
At the age of 17 I was in my 1st sponsored team and then rode for Condor Cycles winning a lot of big races in the Home Counties. At the age of 19 I rode the Tour of Luxemburg with newly crowned national champion Neil Martin the father of the great Dan Martin who's presently rides for Garmin Sharp Pro Team. I then started working 3 days a week for Condors Cycles as the shop had and over the few years I worked my way up the ladder learning more about the cycle trade to then become the manager of Condor Cycles for nearly 18 years.
In the early days there was a young boy we used to look after in the early days of his career, his name was Sir Bradley Wiggins. Over the years at Condor I enjoyed my time riding for the Condor's team in many top races in the UK and Europe and had lots of victories. In my time working for Condor Cycles I was mentored by someone very special to me who has inspired me all my life the one and only Monty Young, probably the best wheel builder ever!
