About the Business
Thorntons cycle centre has been trading for over 40 years, established in 1969 by Mr Sid Thornton. It is now owned by his son David. Thorntons have four staff - Max, Phil, James and Dan.
Thorntons suffered a deverstating fire in january 2010 and had to move to temporary premises for 12 months while renovations were done. They moved back in january 2011 and now have fully stocked air conditioned showrooms on 2 floors.
Thorntons have a large range of cycles in stock catering for all age groups and genres. They also stock a vast range of spares and accessories and offer a fully comprehensive repair service. All their cycles are fully assembled and checked before they leave the premises and they offer a free first service on all their new cycles.
