About the Business
The Tri Store opened in April 2003 when Lawrence and Simon decided to go it alone having met working in London and finding themselves spending lunch hours moaning about the service in so many of the bike shops in the city. We also wanted to be part of the triathlon revolution that was beginning to take hold, Simon already being an Ironman disciple from the days of Mark Allen and Dave Scott. We decided we wanted to be the sort of shop where people could ask questions without being made to feel stupid or unworthy of the products they wanted to buy. We wanted the vibe of an "old school" bike shop with the display principles of the West End's finest store. We wanted to be people you felt you could talk to. We like to think we've succeeded in meeting our original outline.
We try to ensure that if a product is in demand, it is in stock and we constantly try to predict the market and buy in advance of trends and hot products.
