About the Business
Peak Tours offers flexible but carefully planned holidays for the traveller wanting to visit the most interesting & beautiful places the Peak District has to offer. We offer a range of tours which aim to visit some of the Peaks better known attractions and also to some of the lesser known hidden gems. As well as the many tours that we operate in the Peak District we also run a number of other classic rides throughout the UK such as the Lands End to John o'Groats tour, Coast to Coast, Way of the Roses & Dover to Cape Wrath.
Peak Tours was established by Steve Coackley. Born & bred in the High Peak or Dark Peak area of the Peak District Steve has walked & cycled extensively throughout the Peak District for many years. Prior to setting up Peak Tours Steve cycled around the world on an unsupported trip along with three others from Scotland, China & Australia. The journey took Steve through Europe, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, USA & Ireland covering 12,700 miles in eight months.
