About the Business
McCabrey Cycles was first opened as a motorbike and pushbike sales and repair service by Thomas James McCabrey in 1948. In 1970 his son, Ronnie joined his father to extend the shop and grow the business. During the next 20 years the shop grew from strength to strength. On the passing of Thomas McCabrey, Ronnie focused solely on the sale and repair of bicycles and bicycle accessories.
While the face of the shop has changed, our focus remains the same. That is 'on the provision of high quality products at a best value price'. We strive on making sure our customers have the best possible advice so that they get the most from their bicycles.
Since 1970 we have kept abreast of the latest cycle engineering. We have used this learning to select the best manufactured products in the world. We sell all well known brands, including Rooster, Goldrush, Eurotrek, BH, Claud Buttler, Landrover, Giant and Diamondback. The brand names in which we take greatest pride are Felt, Trek and Raleigh.
