About the Business
Harpenden Cycles was opened in 1989 by David Wright and a young Liam Jeffries who was a staple part of the business for 17 years. Following Davids retirement in 2014, Liam now owns the business alongside his friend Brian with support from their partners and friends. The shop has traded from the same site at 115 Southdown Road in Harpenden for over 20 years and although we have changed in size and in staff, we still remain a pillar of the community for our skill, experience and antiquity.
Great service and friendly staff have always been key to the ongoing success of the business. Various cycle brands are currently available here including Trek, Claud Butler and Marin, as well as Frog and Bumper for the kids. It has always been our aim to offer the best quality and choice of products that we can. We are proud to boast a knowledgeable team of staff with the experience that comes from years of riding bikes as well as selling and servicing them.
