About the Business
Pete Dunn started Cottingham Cycle Centre in October 1984 with a small budget and an even smaller shop on new village road in Cottingham, upon leaving school in 1992 his son Steve joined the business and introduced BMX to the shop, as the business slowly grew it became obvious that bigger premises were needed so in 2007 the shop relocated to 1 Station Road in Cottingham. The third member of the team also joined at this time, Chris, who is Pete's grandson and also has a love of BMX.
As well as owning the shop Pete also sponsors the racing team (Cottingham Coureurs) and helps organise the annual Cottingham Criterium road race every July in the village centre.
